The Library Technician Program is designed to teach the fundamental knowledge and skills needed for today鈥檚 Library Technicians. The Associate of Arts Degree and Certificate of Achievement program are designed to successfully prepare students for employment with entry and mid-level library technician positions in public, academic, school, special libraries, and other information-related industries.
The Floral Design Program prepares students in a comprehensive vocational program for the Floral Industry. This program focuses on floral industry management, retail skills and behind the scenes information. It is designed to give students a strong, basic foundation in the retail management as well as the hands-on skills of floral design, current trends as needed for employment as a floral designer.
Topics covered include floral design history and new trends, floral identification, arrangement pricing, customer service and conflict resolution.

Dance, music, and theater are the art of presentation. The Performing Arts Department offers a wide range of classes in each of these creative disciplines: classical and modern dance, vocal and instrumental music, acting, and production and management in stage and film. Courses prepare students for their next step: be it a four-year college, specialty arts school or professional career. The department offers Associate of Arts degrees in dance, music, general theater arts, and acting.
