EOPS Mutual Responsibility Agreement (MRA)

The EOPS Mutual Responsibility Agreement聽(MRA) lists the things all EOPS/CARE/NextUp students are responsible for following and adhering to in order to be in good standing with the program and receive all the benefits and services the program offers. It also lists the benefits that students and services EOPS students in good standing are eligible to receive.

The CARE Mutual Responsibility Agreement (MRA) outlines the program鈥檚 requirements, responsibilities, and services provided to eligible students who participate in the CARE program.

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state funded community college program that provides 鈥渙ver and above鈥 services to 海角社区 students from social, economic, educational or language disadvantaged backgrounds. The program supports enrollment, retention, transfer of students, and helps facilitate the successful completion of their educational goals.

Upward Bound students.

The Upward Bound Program provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The goal of the 海角社区 TRiO Upward Bound Program is to prepare high school students from the Long Beach Unified School District area as they enroll in and successfully complete a post-secondary education program. The Program accomplishes this objective by enhancing participants鈥 academic skills, personal motivation and confidence, needed to succeed in college.
