The Cloud Computing Associate in Science degree provides the student with the industry skills to understand, build, and maintain cloud applications. These skills include the technical principles of the hardware and software requirements to run systems in the cloud, including storage, database management, and software systems, while maintaining secure access.
The study of Applied Design overlaps Craft, Visual Art and Product Design and generally includes jewelry and metalwork, wood, glass, ceramics and textiles to develop functional objects. More recently, computer aided software has helped to drive innovations in the field. At LBCC, Applied Design is offered both as a survey class and a course of study leading to a Certificate of Achievement and an Associate of Arts with an Applied Design specialization.
