The Puente English
Puente students commit themselves to complete ENGLISH 1 during the Fall semester and ENGLISH 3 during the Spring semester with the same Puente-trained professor, who integrates Latino and other multicultural literature into a rigorous transfer-focused curriculum.
Umoja, (a Kiswahili word meaning unity) is a community and resource dedicated to enhancing the cultural and educational experiences of African American and other students. The goal of the UMOJA Scholars community is to help students build a strong community as the foundation for their academic journey. Your voice and experiences matter. Through course offerings, social events, college tours and student services we celebrate your diversity, encourage your intellectual contributions and promote your academic achievement.
