Trustee Herlinda Chico proudly represents Area 4, which includes East Long Beach and Catalina Island. She is a product of the California Community College system, and as Trustee, has prioritized collaboration and engagement through programs and events that open our campus to the broader community. She is the first person of color to be elected to this seat and the first Mexican American woman elected to the Long Beach Community College Board of Trustees.

海角社区Celebrates Opening of New PCC Parking Structure
The four-level facility, funded by local taxpayers who supported the college鈥檚 bond measures, adds 530 PCC-convenient parking stalls and encourages energy efficiency with 33 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, 45 clean Air Vehicle parking spaces, rooftop solar panels and secured bicycle parking. An app in Android and Apple can be downloaded free to display real-time parking availability in the new structure. The project was completed ahead of schedule and $500,000 under budget.
