  • For California resident/AB540 first-time college students from the Long Beach Unified School District or one of the selected high schools joining us in the Fall semester directly after high school graduation.

II.  Priority registration

Take advantage of priority registration to enroll in your classes early and secure the ideal class times that fit your schedule!

  1. Go to www.lbcc.edu, click on 鈥淨uicklinks,鈥� & select 鈥淰iking Student Login.鈥�
  2. Enter your 海角社区Viking ID number & Password.
  3. Click on 鈥淩egistration & Schedule.鈥�
  4. On the bottom of the main page, you can find the date & time under the subtitle 鈥淩egistration Appointments for Current Students.鈥�

III.  Counseling & Student Success Coach

Our team is committed to supporting you during your first year at LBCC. Our two primary support roles include:

FYE Counselor FYE Student Success Coach
  • Develop your Educational Plan
  • Help select classes
  • Explore majors
  • Schedule counseling appointments
  • Facilitate workshops
  • Manage daily FYE Lounge operations
  • Sends important reminders and communication

As part of the FYE Program, you can schedule an appointment with an FYE Counselor through our CANVAS page
