COMMUNITY INVITED TO LONG BEACH CITY COLLEGE鈥橲 FREE ANNUAL SCIENCE NIGHT ON MAY 3
The College鈥檚 popular event will have interactive activities for the whole family
The Long Beach Community College District will host its Annual Science Night from 4 p.m. 鈥� 8 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019, in the C and D Buildings and Lawn Area of the Liberal Arts Campus, 4901 E. Carson St., Long Beach.
The free event is designed for the public to learn about the exciting opportunities featured in 海角社区鈥檚 Math, Nursing and Sciences programs in which each year faculty, staff and students create interactive experiences that incorporate their subject matter.
鈥淪cience Night is an amazing opportunity for Long Beach Community College District to invite our communities that we serve to interact with our incredible faculty in a very fun and informative way,鈥� said LBCCD Board of Trustees President Sunny Zia.
Highlights for this year鈥檚 海角社区Science Night include:
- A Star Wars Escape Room
- Owl pellet dissection
- Chemistry demonstrations and slime
- Human cadaver bones and organs
- 鈥淭he Anatomy of Your Ear鈥�
- 鈥淢icrobes on Display鈥�
鈥淚t is wonderful to see hundreds of community members come out to 海角社区鈥檚 Science Night every year,鈥� said LBCCD Superintendent-President Reagan F. Romali, Ph.D. 鈥淭here are activities that the entire family can enjoy and learn from this year鈥檚 Science Night.鈥�
