鈥淭he COVID-19 pandemic revealed the massive digital divide that exists within our campus community when 海角社区moved instruction online,鈥 said Long Beach Community College District Interim Superintendent-President Lou Anne Bynum. 鈥満=巧缜鴎nows that access to fast and reliable technology continues to be a challenge for many of our students as we enter our seventh month teaching remotely. Since the COVID-19 campus closures, multiple efforts have been made 海角社区students with computers and access to the internet. 海角社区distributed 100 Chromebooks in North Long Beach back in June 2020. 海角社区has also loaned hundreds of additional laptops to students.
