ANFP Certification

CERTIFIED DIETARY MANAGER (CDM) ELIGIBILITY

Our Nutrition and Dietetics Program at 海角社区 is an approved training center by the which administers the credentialing exam for the Certified Dietary Manager certificate (CDM).

The 海角社区 offers multiple pathways to prepare you to sit for the Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM庐|CFPP庐) Credentialing Exam.

PATHWAY I:

This pathway is designed for candidates who do not have a 2- or 4-year higher education degree. Approved by ANFP, our Dietetic Service Supervisor (DSS) training program offers 10 courses of educational content and 150 hours of field experience. After successfully completing our DSS program you simply submit a copy of your 海角社区certificate of Achievement to be eligible to sit for the CBDM庐 exam.

PATHWAY II:

This pathway is designed for candidates who hold a 2- or 4-year college degree in foodservice management or nutrition, 2-year culinary arts degree, or 2-year hotel-restaurant management degree. Graduates of LBCC鈥檚 Nutrition Assistant (NA) training program and LBCC鈥檚 AA degree in DSS are eligible for the (CDM庐|CFPP庐) Credentialing Exam.

PATHWAY III(b):

This pathway is designed for candidates who have at least 2 or more years of noncommercial foodservice management experience.

Our ANFP-approved Nutrition and Foodservice Professional Training Pathway III(b) is designed for working professionals who have at least 2 years of noncommercial foodservice management experience and are looking to prepare for the (CDM庐|CFPP庐) Credentialing Exam.

Once candidates complete the course they will submit their certificate to the ANFP along with an employment verification document.

PATHWAY V:

This pathway is designed for candidates who hold an alternate 2-year, 4-year, or higher college degree. Students selecting this pathway must have at least 5 years of institutional foodservice management experience, and are looking to prepare for the (CDM庐|CFPP庐) Credentialing Exam.
