The 鈥溾�� blog will feature the late Bobbie Smith. Bobbie Smith was the very first Black woman to be hired at LBCC.
She served as a department head, Academic Senate President, and Faculty Union President before her retirement in 1992. This blog is popular with Black/African American national, state, and international library associations, and is devoted to the history of African American librarians and library services.
