Melanie earned her BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton. While teaching, she returned to CSUF to receive a Master of Science in Reading, where she discovered her delight in teaching community college students. She has taught at a number of schools in both southern and northern California, including Fullerton College, Ohlone College, and  Cerritos College. She is thrilled to begin her work as an Assistant Professor at º£½ÇÉçÇø in Fall 2016. She aims to foster a love of learning with the use of conversation, creative projects, and practice.
